The Asterisk Appliance
(AA50) is an Asterisk-based PBX targeted
for small to medium businesses (2-50 users)
or remote branch offices of larger organizations.
It is an on-premise CPE-based solution with
SIP or IAX trunking. The AA50 also
offers a hybrid solution
(a combination of
VoIP applications using legacy telecom equipment)
for enterprise customers who are not yet
ready to migrate to a complete VoIP solution.
It
features the commercially licensed Asterisk
Business Edition™ software and the
first Digium® developed GUI, which was
created to make it easy to configure, manage
and fine-tune your Asterisk PBX.
The AA50 is available
in the following configurations: VoIP
only; eight FXO; four FXO with four FXS.
