- DOW Networks announced today that its new Point of Presence (POP) in the United Kingdom is fully operational and passing call traffic. The new POP is co- located with MCI/Verizon at the UK4 facility near Heathrow.
Explained DOW Networks CEO David Wise, “The main purpose for establishing the co-location in the UK is to better position the company to meet the needs of our international call center and multi-national business clients in South Africa and other locations such as Gibraltar, Malta, Jamaica, the Caribbean and the United States.”
Continued Wise, “We now can offer extremely competitive toll-free rates from the United Kingdom to these destinations and other countries world-wide and we can offer local numbers (DDIs) from the UK as well. The UK POP also enhances our network footprint and gives us added redundancies”.
DOW Networks provides mission-critical telecommunications solutions to call centers and international businesses in over 40 countries. The company operates offices in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Panama.
